“I Can Hold the Violin”

100_1818    100_1786Here are a couple of my favorite photos of children in all my pre-school classes learning how to hold the violin!  Everyone learned, from the youngest to the Kindergartners.

“I Can Hold the Violin”

In five easy steps, you can hold the violin.  And in three easy steps, you can hold the bow.  Then what?  Play six beginning violin sounds.  Learn the names of the four strings.  Place each finger on each string.  There are Music Reading Readiness symbols for each sound, and Composing Cards so you and your child can create your own original musical patterns.
